Abstract

            The nurse was the first person who take care of the forensic patients, who have injuries or dead related to the law. Because the forensic patients must undergo a physical examination, and various biological evidence, to be used as evidence in the investigation and court proceedings. Therefore, the importance of nurse’s role was helping doctor for medical examination and evidence collecting, having knowledge about medical examination methods and forensic processes, e.g. assessment and screening, notifications, inspection, evidence collection and referrals including various laws, will enable nurses to provide appropriated care for forensic patients and created justice for the forensic patients.
