มะเร็งลำไส้ใหญ่และทวารหนัก: การพัฒนาระบบการดูแลและบูรณาการความร่วมมือของสหสาขาวิชาชีพ

Abstract

                   โรคมะเร็งลำไส้ใหญ่และทวารหนักคือหนึ่งในโรคมะเร็งที่เป็นปัญหาสุขภาพสำคัญและนับวันจะทวีความรุนแรงยิ่งขึ้นตามการเปลี่ยนแปลงของสังคมและสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการดำเนินชีวิตของมนุษย์ การรักษาหนึ่งที่ยังคงเป็นการรักษาหลัก คือการผ่าตัด เป้าหมายนอกจากจะมุ่งจัดการกับปัญหาดังกล่าวแล้ว ผลกระทบต่างๆมีโอกาสเกิดตามมาได้ภายหลังผ่าตัดได้แก่ การปวด คลื่นไส้อาเจียน ภาวะไม่สมดุลย์ของน้ำและอีเลคโทรไลย์ การขาดสารอาหาร การติดเชื้อหลังผ่าตัด ความสามารถในการดูแลตนเองลดลง และความเครียด   การวางแผนระบบการดูแลที่ดี ในระยะก่อนการผ่าตัด ระหว่างการผ่าตัดและระยะหลังการผ่าตัด  โดยประสานความร่วมมือระหว่างทีมสหสาขาวิชาชีพจะส่งผลให้ผู้ป่วยได้รับการดูแลที่ครอบคลุมในหลากหลายมิติ ช่วยลดโอกาสเกิดภาวะแทรกซ้อนหลังผ่าตัดและยังเป็นการส่งเสริมการฟื้นตัวที่มีคุณภาพของผู้ป่วย

Colorectal cancer: Multidisciplinary caring system

Abstract

                   Colorectal cancer is considered the significant problem to human lives and directly associated with people’s lifestyle. According to a change of societal system, so far it has been developed much more severity. Surgery remains the principle method for curing. However any unwanted side effects might occur after the operation. These were pain, nausea and vomiting, electrolyte imbalance, malnutrition, sepsis, self-care deficit and stress. A well planned system for taking care, before , during and post operation  along with the cooperation among interdisciplinary health care  team would lead to a holistic care in variety dimensions that could help reduce the possibility of complications, and enhance the patients’ recovery quality .
