RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SELECTED FACTORS AND LEARNING HAPPINESS OF NURSING STUDENTS AT THE ROYAL THAI ARMY NURSING COLLEGE

This descriptive research was quantitative research aimed to study of selected factors correlated with learning happiness of nursing students at The Royal Thai Army Nursing College. The sample was 178 nursing students at The Royal Thai Army Nursing College grade 1-4 who studying in the academic year 2016. The research instrument was a questionnaire divided into 3 parts. Part 1: Personal data questionnaire Part 2: Factors related to learning happiness and Part 3 Learning Happiness questionnaire. The research questionnaire was adapted from the questionnaire of Kittiwiwadee Boonsue, Pintinan Suthatan, Sunthorn Techasuwanich and Vipa Tussanapong (1997). The second and third part questionnaires were the content validity of the 3 experts what received the IOC was .93 and .90. The reliability of the Cronbach alpha coefficients was .89 and .91. The descriptive statistics were frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean. standard deviation Inferential statistics are Pearson's correlation coefficient.
The finding found that the level of happiness of the nursing students was at the high level (=4.28, S.D.=.51). The selected factors include friends learners Instructors environment and family were positive correlation with learning happiness of nursing students at The Royal Thai Army Nursing College at the .01 level (r = .66, .62, .59, .46, and .44, respectively). The selected factors were friends and learners. correlated with learning happiness of nursing students at The Royal Thai Army Nursing College at the highest. Therefore, they are advisable to encourage friends to help with peer review and exchange ideas with each other. It also promotes other factors that contribute to learning happiness in nursing.
