The Causal Factors of Work Motivation on Organization Climate Satisfaction of Kuakarun Faculty of Nursing Personnel

Abstract

The purpose of this descriptive research were to study (1) the level of organization climate satisfaction (2) the correlations between work motivation and organization climate satisfaction and (3) The Causal Factors of work motivation on organization climate satisfaction of Kuakarun Faculty of Nursing Personnel. The sample consist of 152 participants who were government teachers, ordinary civil servants, permanent employees and temporary employees of Kuakarun Faculty of Nursing. The instrument used in this research were questionnaire assessing consist of demographic data, work motivation and organization climate satisfaction with Cronbach’s alpha-coefficient reliability 0.96 and 0.98 respectively. Data was analyzed in term of mean, standard deviation, Pearson product moment correlation and Structural equation model used statistic package.

Research findings showed that (1) organization climate satisfaction of Kuakarun

Faculty of Nursing Personnel were rated at a high level ( = 3.93) (2) the correlation between observed variable of work motivation and observed variable of organization climate satisfaction had the significant positive correlation at .05 the Pearson correlation ranged from 0.150-0.566 and(3) the causal model of work motivation on organization climate satisfaction was in congruence with empirical data (χ2= 29.010,     df = 24, χ2/df = 1.209, p = 0.220, RMSEA = 0.037, SRMR = 0.043, GFI = 0.963, AGFI = 0.915) had direct effect as 0.750 at 0.001 level and explained the variance of the work motivation for 45.7%
