Caring Behavior of Nurse Instructors in Basic Nursing Practicum by perception between Instructors and Nursing Student of Private Institutions

Abstract

           This research was survey research .The purposes were 1) to study Caring Behavior of Nurse Instructors in Basic Nursing Practicum by perception between Instructors and Nursing Student of  Private Institutions 2) Compare of the Caring Behavior of Nurse Instructors in Basic Nursing Practicum of instructors was difference age, teaching experience, academic position and birthplace 2) Compare of the Caring Behavior of Nurse Instructors in Basic Nursing Practicum by perception between Instructors and Nursing Student of  Private Institutions. The sample is the first year nursing students through the Basic nursing practicum course of private Calculated sample by used of Taro Yamane 320 people sampled then sampling ratio (Proportional Allocation) to obtain a sample of 320 first year students and Basic Nursing practicum instructors of private institution by comparing krejcie and Morgan’s square 132 people then sampling ratio .Selecting data were collected by means of questionnaires. Which verified the content validity from qualified third person and verify the reliability of the questionnaire, and standard of 0.94. Statistical techniques used to study of Caring behavior 0f Nurse Instructors in Basic Nursing Practicum by perception between Instructors and Nursing Student of  Private Institutions were frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation compared to standard, Compare of Caring behavior of Instructors in Basic Nursing Practicum in difference age, teaching experience academic position and birthplace was  F-test analysis and to compare of Caring behavior of instructor basic nursing practicum instructors and student was  Z-test analysis.

             The results showed that 1) Caring Behavior of Nurse Instructors in Basic Nursing Practicum by perception of Instructors was high level and Caring Behavior of Nurse Instructors in Basic Nursing Practicum by perception of Student was high level too. 2) Instructors in Basic Nursing Practicum difference age, teaching experience and birthplace was difference perception of average Caring Behavior but Instructors in Basic Nursing Practicum difference academic position was no difference. 3) Compare of the Caring Behavior of Nurse Instructors in Basic Nursing Practicum by perception between Instructors and Nursing Student of Private Institutions was difference.
