Abstract

This research study was the descriptive research. The objective of this study was to identify the satisfaction of the fourth year students towards the undergraduate program of science in nursing, Kuakarun Faculty of Nursing, Navamindradhiraj University in Academic Year 2013. The sample of this study consist of 140 students, enrolling in the fourth year of the program. The research instruments used in this study were survey questionnaire of the satisfaction towards the program. The questionnaires were validated by three experts. The results of Index of Item Objective Congruence (IOC) were equal to 0.89, and the reliability of Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient were 0.95. Data analysis was based on descriptive statistics.

This results of this research showed that the fourth year nursing students overall satisfaction towards the undergraduate nursing science program was at the highest level.    ( = 4.80, SD= 0.15) Moreover, the subject with the highest level of satisfaction was the curriculum, the criteria of curriculum objectives, actives teaching and learning process, instructor, measurement and evaluation, extra-curriculum activitiesand resources and learning environment, consecutively. This result suggest that the students were confident on the quality of curriculum and teaching quality and this results indicated the need to improve resources and facilities for learning in Kuakarun Faculty of Nursing.
