การวิจัยครั้งนี้ เพื่อศึกษาประสิทธิผลของโปรแกรมส่งเสริมพฤติกรรมหลีกเลี่ยงการขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์ในเยาวชนอายุน้อยกว่า 15 ปี ร่วมกับการสนับสนุนจากครอบครัว ที่มีต่อความรอบรู้ในการขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์ และพฤติกรรมหลีกเลี่ยงการขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์ กลุ่มตัวอย่างแบ่งเป็นกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุม กลุ่มละ 88 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ได้แก่ โปรแกรมส่งเสริมพฤติกรรมหลีกเลี่ยงการขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์ แบบวัดความรอบรู้ในการขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์ ( = .91) และแบบวัดพฤติกรรม การหลีกเลี่ยงการขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์ (
= .87) วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนพหุคูณแบบ 2 ทาง
ผลการศึกษา พบว่า มีปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างโปรแกรมส่งเสริมพฤติกรรมหลีกเลี่ยงการขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์ ในเยาวชนอายุน้อยกว่า 15 ปี และการสนับสนุนจากครอบครัว ที่ส่งผลต่อความรอบรู้ในการขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์ และพฤติกรรมหลีกเลี่ยงการขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์ โดยพบว่า 1) กลุ่มทดลองที่มีระดับการสนับสนุนจากครอบครัวทั้งสูงและต่ำจะมีคะแนนความรอบรู้ในการขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์สูงกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ 2) กลุ่มที่มีระดับการสนับสนุนจากครอบครัวสูงเท่านั้นที่จะมีอิทธิพลต่อคะแนนพฤติกรรมหลีกเลี่ยงการขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์ โดยพบว่า คะแนนในกลุ่มทดลองสูงกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องสามารถนำโปรแกรมนี้ไปใช้ฝึกอบรมเพื่อป้องกันการขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์ในเด็กอายุน้อยกว่า 15 ปี
