Health Promotion for Postpartum Mothers with Thai Traditional Medicine

Abstract

          In postpartum period, the mothers will have to change many aspects of physical, mental, emotional and social. They should have been caring for the physical and mental health as well. If maternal health care the body is strong as ever and make better milk for their babies. The healthy adaptation is an important process for postpartum women, which they can adjust it to suit their roles. Although postpartum women are perceived or prepared since the pregnancy but they faced many changes, keep the babies, remain the same role, as the wife, housewife, are responsible for any else and including the continuous changing since pregnancy. So the promoting healthy in postpartum women with Thai Traditional Medicine is an alternative in health care postpartum women.


          The promoting healthy in postpartum women with Thai Traditional Medicine Need to have knowledge about the changing of postpartum women, forms and means of promoting health in the postpartum period. Such as the fire after childbirth, the Na Plai, the salty pot, herbal compress, the scented, sitting charcoal, postpartum massage, nutrition, and skin care with herbs. The all use Thai wisdom resources available locally applied correctly and appropriately for completely healthy postpartum women and babies, and including the organs change back to its original condition.
