Spiritual Well Being Promotion of Palliative Patient’s Relative Caregiver

Abstract

People attitude to death are separation from loved person and mean great bereavement to them. Relative caregiver who provide caring to palliative patient feel grievous, sad, burnt-out and hopeless in one’s life. Nurse who care palliative patient, also have to take an important role to take care relative caregiver which is a part of social care, because relative caregiver is the resource of hope, emotional support that can help and promote good death to palliative patient.
The objectives of this article explain caring and promotion the spiritual need of palliative patient’s relative caregiver to accept bereavement and sadness which may coming up when patient die. It covers the search for meaning of life and illness, love, emotional support, hope, forgiveness/acceptance and religious practice which are guidelines to help promote transcendence of relatives caregiver. This things help relative care-giver has emotional support and can continue caring patient until  departed. Finally caregiver can live with happy.
