Abstract


Nursing  care  cardiac  catheterization  client  by  applying  the  King  Theory  of  Goal  Attainment.  The  objective  of  this  article  are  to  study  King  Theory  of  Goal  attainment,  the  anxiety  of  cardiac  catheterization  client  and  mutual  goal  setting  between  nurse  and  client  in  order  to  decrease  anxiety  by  utilizing  The  King  Theory  of  Goal  attainment.  It  reveals  that  this  theory  appropriate  to  all  client.  The  theory  focuses  on  the  acceptance  in  personal  ability  to  seek  knowledge,  makes  judgements  and  take  action  which  based  on  the  interaction  of  nurse  and  client  who  have  congruent  perceptions,  effective  communication  sharing  goal  setting  searching  the  means  to  achieve  goal  nurse  and  client  perceive  satisfaction  the  lead  to  effective  nursing  practice,  save  and  decrease  anxiety  of  client
