Abstract

Sexual risk behavior of young people affected individuals, families, society, and nation that need for urgent action. This article aims to review of the literature related to sexual risk behavior among youth. The results revealed that situation of youth sexual violence and are likely to increase the unwanted pregnancy, abortion, the impact of unsafe abortion, and sexually transmitted infections. Sexual risk behavior of youth is related to the nature of the age, performance critical thinking, and external factors such as parenting style, family relations, social media, technology, and the environment. Preventing sexual risk behaviors need to focus on effective and sustained implementation of two strategies is to develop the critical thinking of youth with positive development process and to set up an environment that is conductive to youth.
