This descriptive research aimed to study health promotion behaviors and the relationship among bio-social factors, predisposing factors, enabling factors,
reinforcing factors and health promotion behaviors of professional nurses in Medicine Vajira Hospital, Navamindradhiraj University. The simple random technique was applied to calculate the sample size, were 263 persons. The data were collected by questionnaires. The statistics were used for data analysis, were percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson correlation coefficient. Health promotion behaviors
of professional nurses in Medicine Vajira Hospital were the medium level at mean=3.19. Considering in each aspect of health promotion was found that health
responsibility and individual relationship were the high level at mean = 3.70 and 3.45, respectively. However, the food consumption, the stress management and spiritual growth including the exercises were the medium level at mean 3.16, 3.02 and 2.48, respectively. Bio-social factors and predisposing factors were not correlated with health promoting behaviors while enabling factors and reinforcing factors were significantly correlated with health promoting behaviors of professional nurses at p= .01.
