บทคัดย่อ

โรคติดเชื้ออุบัติใหม่เป็นปัญหาสำคัญที่ส่งผลกระทบโดยตรงต่อทั้งสุขภาพของประชาชน ระบบสาธารณสุข เศรษฐกิจและความมั่นคงระดับชาติ การอุบัติขึ้นใหม่ของโรคโควิด-19 ซึ่งกำลังระบาดอยู่ในขณะนี้ นอกจากส่งผลให้มีผู้ติดเชื้อและผู้เสียชีวิตเป็นจำนวนมากแล้ว ยังก่อให้เกิดความตื่นตระหนกต่อสถานการณ์ การระบาดไปทั่วโลก การทำให้เกิดความเข้าใจในข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับสาเหตุหรือปัจจัยที่ทำให้เกิดโรคอุบัติใหม่ จึงเป็นสิ่งสำคัญและเป็นพื้นฐานของการวางแผนมาตรการควบคุมโรคที่กำลังแพร่ระบาด รวมทั้งมาตรการป้องกัน การเกิดโรคอุบัติขึ้นใหม่ในอนาคต บทความวิชาการนี้นำเสนอข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับโรคติดเชื้ออุบัติใหม่ โดยเน้นปัจจัย ที่ส่งเสริมให้เกิดการอุบัติขึ้นของโรค พร้อมยกตัวอย่างโรคติดเชื้ออุบัติใหม่ที่เกิดขึ้นภายในคริสต์ศตวรรษที่ 21 โดยได้จัดปัจจัยเหล่านั้นเป็น 4 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ 1) ปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเชื้อก่อโรค 2) ปัจจัยด้านประชากรและ สังคมศาสตร์ 3) ปัจจัยด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม และ 4) ปัจจัยด้านระบบสาธารณสุข รวมทั้งยังได้วิเคราะห์ถึงปัจจัย ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการอุบัติขึ้นของโรคโควิด-19
