PEER REVIEW PROCESS
Peer Review Process
- Submission of Paper
The corresponding or submitting author submits the paper to the journal using the online system to submit manuscripts. - Editorial Screening
The editor determines the manuscript's suitability for the journal and identifies any fundamental flaws, including conducting a plagiarism check using Turnitin.
A similarity rate above 25% (excluding references) indicates high plagiarism. In addition to the percentage of similarity rate, the sources of similar text, their distribution in the manuscript, and the length of each identical text are considered.
If the editor determined that an article is plagiarized, poorly conducted study, or irrelevant to the journal's scope, it is rejected for publication without peer review, and the authors are notified.
If the manuscript passes the editor's initial screening, it will be transferred to at least three anonymous reviewers in the relevant field for further evaluation. - Peer Review
Potential reviewers consider the invitation regarding their expertise and availability. Each reviewer reviews and comments on the manuscript, examining the significance of the study, the study design, the results presentation, and the clarity of language. The reviewers then recommend the publication to the journal editor.
The editor makes an informed decision based on the reviewers' feedback and recommendations on whether the paper will be accepted, rejected, or invited to revise and resubmitted. The editor sends the decision letter to the authors. - Revision
The authors need to consider the reviewers' comments and revise carefully based on them. They must also respond to each comment point-by-point, indicating how the change has been made or providing sufficient explanations if a revision cannot be made. After the revision, the authors resubmit the revised paper to the journal. This resubmission should include a document detailing the changes made and the reasons for any changes that were not made in a format provided by the editorial officer. - Second (Third) Round of Peer Review
The revision is reviewed by the editor only or by both the editor and reviewers regarding to the reviewers’ inquiry for the second round (or the third round if necessary). - Acceptance for publication
When the paper is accepted, the authors receive an acceptance letter. As a requirement for publication, the authors may be requested to make minor revisions after acceptance. - Production Process
The manuscript is sent to our language editor before the editor provides recommendations to the authors. Authors are responsible for making corrections as per the recommendations before the editor sends the paper to the copy editor. - Copy Editing
The copy editor manages details such as recording the date of receipt, author names and addresses, article titles, and assigning a reference number. A PDF file is then sent to the author for approval or feedback regarding further corrections. The editor sends the manuscript to the language editor before sending the recommendation back to the authors. The authors correct it regarding the recommendation. - Uploading
Our journal publishes three issues annually, each released regularly in January, May, and September.
