Article Publishing Ethics
1. A manuscript submitted for consideration for publication in the Thai Journal of Ergonomics (TJE) must not be published in any other journal before submission for TJE.
2. Ethics of publishing research articles in the TJE should follow the guidelines of “The Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)” (https://publicationethics.org/), in which all parties involved, including authors, experts review articles. and editor
Ethics of Authors
1. The authors must submit an original article that is the work of the author himself. If the use of other people's work in the article must be properly referenced and put the title of the work referenced in the reference documents.
2. The authors must demonstrate the proper conduct of research in accordance with the research process and demonstrate the importance of research results. The data must be real, clear, and not created or modify the data to obtain the desired statistical analysis results. It must be a consequence of the research results and not use personal opinions.
3. To submit the manuscript, the Authors should identify funding sources that support the research and the presence of conflicts of interest or conflicts of interest (if any).
Ethics of Reviewers
1. The expert reviewing the article must not publish any information related to the article considered by any other person and does not appear to be a reviewer until the article is published. If the article is not published, the reviewer cannot cite the article. except with the written permission of the author. This process must be done through the editor of the journal.
2. If the qualified person finds that there may be a conflict of interest or conflict of interest after receiving the article for consideration An expert reviewing an article must notify the editor and immediately reject the review of the article.
3. The reviewer of the article should give comments and opinions based on the expertise and without any conflict of interest. The reviewer should be considering how the article generates new knowledge. Empirical evidence was referenced in the presentation of the research results.
4. The reviewer considering articles should provide recommendations for authors to write acknowledgment of others' research used in research articles. The reviewers should inform to the editor if an article is found to be duplicated or similar to another published articles that they found in a previously published article.
Ethics of Editors
1. The process of reviewing articles of the Thai Journal of Ergonomics (TJE) is a double-blind consideration. The editors must obscure the author list and reviewers who consider the articles. The articles that are not considered for publication must not be referenced by the editor except with the written consent of the author. Any information related to the article must be kept confidential.
2. The editors must select reviewers who have relevant expertise and do not have any conflicts of interest with the authors of the manuscript. In the event that the editor has a conflict of interest in the article review process, editors should withdraw from that article. and other editors should take responsibility for it instead.
Article Publishing Judgment
After receiving the results of the review from the reviewers, the editors must decide whether to publish an article based on the results of their consideration, taking into account the knowledge gained from the article, and empirical evidence that supports or contradicts such articles.
Copying other people's articles (Plagiarism)
1. When an article is submitted into the system of the Thai Journal of Ergonomics (TJE), articles are checked for copying of others' articles by Software Copy–Catch in the database. If the review results are found to be substantially similar to another article (for example, copying an entire paragraph), this results will be rejected. If the article has some similarities, the editor will notify the authors to make changes before proceeding to the next review process.
2. In the event that similarities are found to other people's works during the review of the article, editors should suspend the review process. The editor ask for an explanation from the author which if the explanation is not reasonable, the articles will be rejected for publication.
3. In the event that similarities are found after the article has been published, the editor will remove the article from the journal and announce in the journal website that the article has been removed.
