บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง (Quasi-experimental research) วัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมการให้ข้อมูลเตรียมความพร้อมในผู้ป่วยที่เข้ารับการผ่าตัดต่อมลูกหมากผ่านทางท่อปัสสาวะ โดยใช้แนวคิดการให้ข้อมูลเตรียมความพร้อมตามทฤษฎีการปรับตนเอง (Self-regulation theory) ของลีเวนทาลและจอห์นสัน เลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจงตามคุณสมบัติที่กำหนดโดยกลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้ป่วยชายที่นัดผ่าตัดต่อมลูกหมากผ่านทางท่อปัสสาวะที่โรงพยาบาลมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวรเป็นครั้งแรก จำนวน 24 ราย แบ่งเป็นกลุ่มควบคุมและกลุ่มทดลองอย่างละ 12 ราย เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการทดลองได้แก่ โปรแกรมการให้ข้อมูลเตรียมความพร้อม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูลประกอบด้วย แบบบันทึกข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล, แบบสอบถามความวิตกกังวล, แบบประเมินความปวด, แบบประเมินภาวะปัสสาวะเป็นเลือด วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา หาค่าความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และใช้สถิติทดสอบ Chi-square test, Fisher’s exact test, Paired t-test และ Independent t-test
ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1) กลุ่มทดลองหลังได้รับโปรแกรมฯ มีค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนความวิตกกังวลก่อนผ่าตัดต่ำกว่าก่อนได้รับโปรแกรมฯ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .001 2) กลุ่มทดลองมีค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนความวิตกกังวลก่อนผ่าตัดต่ำกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .001 3) กลุ่มทดลองมีค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนความปวดหลังผ่าตัดต่ำกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และ 4) กลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุมมีภาวะปัสสาวะเป็นเลือดหลังผ่าตัดไม่แตกต่างกัน (p > .05) ดังนั้น ควรนำโปรแกรมการให้ข้อมูลเตรียมความพร้อมไปใช้ในการดูแลผู้ป่วยที่ได้รับการผ่าตัดต่อมลูกหมากผ่านทางท่อปัสสาวะเพื่อลดความวิตกกังวลก่อนผ่าตัด และลดความปวดหลังผ่าตัด
