การส่งเสริมทักษะการใช้สมองในการบริหารจัดการในเด็กปฐมวัย

บทคัดย่อ
ทักษะการใช้สมองในการบริหารจัดการเป็นชุดกระบวนการทางความคิด อันเป็นผลจากการทำงานของสมองส่วนหน้า (Prefrontal Cortex) ร่วมกับสมองส่วนอื่นๆ ในการรับส่งและเชื่อมโยงของข้อมูลต่างๆ ทำให้สามารถจดจำเรื่องราว ควบคุมกำกับ ความคิด อารมณ์ ความรู้สึก ให้มีความจดจ่อใส่ใจ ยับยั้งตนเองจากสิ่งเร้า บริหารจัดการ และควบคุมพฤติกรรมของตนเพื่อไปให้ถึงเป้าหมายที่ตั้งไว้ ประกอบด้วย 9 องค์ประกอบ แบ่งเป็น 3 กลุ่มทักษะ ได้แก่ กลุ่มทักษะพื้นฐาน กลุ่มทักษะกำกับตนเอง และกลุ่มทักษะปฏิบัติ ทักษะการใช้สมองในการบริหารจัดการนี้เริ่มต้นตั้งแต่ทารกอยู่ในครรภ์มารดา และมีพัฒนาการมากที่สุดในช่วงอายุ 1-6 ปี ซึ่งเป็นช่วงเวลาที่สมองมีกระบวนการสร้างปลอกและเครือข่ายเส้นใยประสาทเพื่อเชื่อมระหว่างเซลล์ ช่วงเวลานี้เป็นโอกาสทองสำหรับการส่งเสริมทักษะการใช้สมองในการบริหารจัดการก่อนที่สมองจะมีกระบวนการตัดแต่งกิ่งของเซลล์สมองที่ไม่ได้ใช้งานออกไป โดยผ่านกิจกรรมและการเล่นตามช่วงวัยของเด็กเพื่อให้เด็กค่อยๆเรียนรู้อย่างมีความสุขในบรรยากาศเชิงบวก อันจะส่งผลให้สมองได้รับการพัฒนาให้สามารถคิด วิเคราะห์ และบริหารจัดการได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพต่อไป
