Abstract

Torus palatinus is a bony protuberance that develops naturally along the midline of the hard palate. In most cases, surgical removal is not required. However, if the torus palatinus interferes prosthodontic treatment. This case report presents a patient with hypertension and a history of ischemic stroke receiving antiplatelet therapy. In this case, present large torus. The patient required complete removable dentures. Surgical removal was performed under local anesthesia . The procedure was preformed without interrupting antiplatelet therapy, followed by placement of a palatal stent to control bleeding and prevent complication. At the three-month follow-up, complete wound healing was observed with no severe complications during or after treatment .
