ประสิทธิผลการสอนทันตสุขศึกษาระหว่าง ทันตแพทย์และครูอนามัยที่ผ่านการอบรม

บทคัดย่อ
ปัญหาหนึ่งของการดำเนินงานทางด้านอนามัยโรงเรียน คือ การขาดแคลนบุคลากรทางทันตสาธารณสุขประกอบกับครูอนามัย ไม่สามารถสอนทันตสุขศึกษาได้อย่างถูกต้องและมีประสิทธิภาพ ดังนั้นการศึกษาครั้งนี้จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบประสิทธิผลในการ สอนทันตสุขศึกษาระหว่างทันตแพทย์และครูอนามัยที่ผ่านการอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการแล้ว เด็กนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 และ 6 ถูกแบ่งออก เป็น 3 กลุ่ม คือกลุ่มที่ได้รับการสอนโดยทันตแพทย์จำนวน 48 คน กลุ่มที่ได้รับการสอนโดยครูอนามัยที่ผ่านการอบรมจำนวน 48 คน และกลุ่ มควบคุ มซึ่งไม่ ได้ รั บการสอนทันตสุขศึ กษาใด ๆ จำนวน 46 คน โดยวั ดผลจากคะแนนความรู้ด้านทันตสุ ขศึ กษาและระดับคราบจุ ลิ นทรี ย์ ทั้งก่อนและหลังการให้ทันตสุขศึกษา วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติแพร์ ซิมเปิล ที เทสต์ และวิเคราะห์ความแตกต่างระหว่างกลุ่มด้วยสถิติ การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว ผลการศึกษาพบว่าคะแนนความรู้หลังได้รับทันตสุขศึกษาทันทีและหลังได้รับทันตสุขศึกษาเป็นระยะ เวลา 3 เดือน ของทั้งกลุ่มที่ได้รับการสอนโดยทันตแพทย์ และกลุ่มที่ได้รับการสอนโดยครูอนามัยมีคะแนนเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับคะแนนก่อนได้รับทันตสุขศึกษา (p < 0.05) แต่ไม่พบความแตกต่างระหว่างคะแนนของทั้งสองกลุ่มอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (p > 0.05) ในขณะเดียวกันพบว่าระดับคราบจุลินทรีย์ของทั้งสองกลุ่มหลังได้รับทันตสุขศึกษา 3 เดือน มีค่าลดลงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับก่อนการได้รับทันตสุขศึกษา (p < 0.05) และไม่พบความแตกต่างระหว่างทั้งสองกลุ่มอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (p > 0.05) ผลการศึกษาครั้งนี้จึงสรุปได้ว่า ครูอนามัยที่ได้ผ่านการอบรมแล้วมีประสิทธิภาพในการสอนทันตสุขศึกษาได้ไม่แตกต่างจากทันตแพทย์
