Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study the effect of self-efficacy’s sources order received on the level of dart throw efficacy and dart throw accuracy and correlation between the level of dart throw efficacy with and dart throw accuracy. The subjects were 60 male students, secondary education grades 7, in 2013 class from Suphanburi Sport School. The subjects have never practiced dart throw. The subjects were selected through randomly assignment then divided into 10 people of 6 groups were by measure the level of dart throw efficacy and dart throw accuracy. Experimental in each group received source of dart throw efficacy information presented in a different sequence. All experimental on each group were conducted 3 times. The data were statistically analyzed by mean, standard deviation, one-way analysis of variance, statistically analyzed of variance test pattern repeated measures two-dimensional by using two way analysis of variance with repeated measures along with multiple comparisons testing using the Tukey’s method and Spearman Rank Correlation Coefficient. All testing used the 0.05 level of significant. The results showed as following:
The mean level of dart throw efficacy level and dart throw accuracy in each group was not difference. There was no significant correlation between dart throw efficacy level and dart throw accuracy. This study showed that each group received source different sequence had no significant effect on dart throw efficacy level and dart throw accuracy. Increase self-efficacy’s sources help improve dart throw efficacy level and dart throw accuracy. That but vicarious experience have greater effect on dart throw efficacy level and dart throw accuracy for athletes not their skill.
