ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมการดูแลทันตสุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุที่พึ่งพาตนเองได้ อำเภอบรรพตพิสัย จังหวัดนครสวรรค์

การศึกษาเชิงวิเคราะห์ภาคตัดขวางครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมการดูแลทันตสุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุที่พึ่งพาตนเองได้ในอำเภอบรรพตพิสัย จังหวัดนครสวรรค์ กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ ผู้สูงอายุที่พึ่งพาตนเองได้ในอำเภอบรรพตพิสัย จังหวัดนครสวรรค์ จำนวน 309 คน โดยวิธีการสุ่มแบบชั้นภูมิ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บข้อมูล คือ แบบสอบถาม ประกอบด้วย 7 ส่วน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา และการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุคูณแบบขั้นตอน
ผลการวิจัย พบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่ เป็นเพศหญิง ร้อยละ 62.1 มีจำนวนฟันมากกว่า 20 ซี่ ร้อยละ56.6 เคยไปรับบริการทางทันตกรรม ร้อยละ 86.1 พฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากอยู่ในระดับปานกลางร้อยละ 50.5 ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมการดูแลทันตสุขภาพอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติได้แก่ การรับรู้ความสามารถตนเองในการดูแลทันตสุขภาพ (β = 0.335) การได้รับข้อมูลข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับการดูแลทันตสุขภาพ (β = 0.306)การรับรู้ประโยชน์ของการดูแลทันตสุขภาพ (β = 0.183) การไปรับบริการทางทันตกรรม (β = 0.098) เพศหญิง (β = 0.122) การรับรู้อุปสรรคของการดูแลทันตสุขภาพ (β = 0.116) จำนวนฟัน (β = 0.104) สามารถทำนายพฤติกรรมการดูแลทันตสุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุที่พึ่งพาตนเองได้ ร้อยละ 48.6 (Adjusted R2 = 0.486, F = 42.675, p < 0.001) ดังนั้น ทันตบุคลากรควรสนับสนุนข้อมูลข่าวสารด้านทันตสุขภาพ ส่งเสริมการรับรู้ความสามารถตนเองในการดูแลทันตสุขภาพ ส่งเสริมการรับรู้ประโยชน์ของการดูแลทันตสุขภาพแก่ผู้สูงอายุ และส่งเสริมพฤติกรรมการใช้ไหมขัดฟันแก่ผู้สูงอายุควรจัดบริการทันตกรรมเชิงรุกเพื่อลดอุปสรรคการเข้าถึงการดูแลทันตสุขภาพแก่ผู้สูงอายุ
