ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อสุขภาพจิตของผู้สูงอายุ ชุมชนเมือง จังหวัดนครสวรรค์

บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนา เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อสุขภาพจิตของผู้สูงอายุ ชุมชนเมือง จังหวัดนครสวรรค์ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 278 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ คือ แบบสอบถามความเครียด แบบสอบถามการเผชิญความเครียด และแบบสอบถามสุขภาพจิต เครื่องมือมีค่าความเชื่อมั่น 0.903, 0.845 และ 0.909 ตามลำดับ สถิติที่ใช้ คือ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.) สถิติไคสแควร์ สหสัมพันธ์ของเพียร์สัน และการถดถอยพหุคูณ ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1) กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่มีระดับสุขภาพจิตดีเท่ากับคนทั่วไป ร้อยละ 38.1 ความเครียดและการเผชิญความเครียด อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ร้อยละ 56.5 และ 69.1 ตามลำดับ โดยมีการเผชิญความเครียดด้านการบรรเทาความรู้สึกเครียดและด้านการเผชิญปัญหา อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ร้อยละ 79.1 และ 57.9 ตามลำดับ ส่วนด้านการแสดงออกทางอารมณ์อยู่ระดับน้อย ร้อยละ 83.5 2) ปัจจัยส่วนบุคลด้านเพศ อายุ รายได้ สถานภาพสมรส การศึกษาและโรคประจำตัว มีความสัมพันธ์กับสุขภาพจิตของผู้สูงอายุอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 3) การเผชิญความเครียดภาพรวม การเผชิญความเครียดด้านการเผชิญปัญหาและด้านบรรเทาความรู้สึกเครียดมีความสัมพันธ์กับสุขภาพจิต อย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .01 (ค่า r = .598, .479 และ .704 ตามลำดับ) และ 4) การเผชิญความเครียด เพศ และสถานภาพสมรส สามารถร่วมกันทำนาย สุขภาพจิตของผู้สูงอายุได้คิดเป็นร้อยละ 66.9 ดังนั้นควรส่งเสริมรูปแบบการเผชิญความเครียด ในผู้สูงอายุทั้งด้านการเผชิญปัญหา การบรรเทาความเครียดและการแสดงออกทางอารมณ์โดยคำนึงถึงความแตกต่างของบุคคลเพื่อให้ผู้สูงอายุคงไว้ซึ่งการมีสุขภาพจิตดี
