บทคัดย่อ: รายงานผู้ป่วยชายไทยอายุ 57 ปี มาด้วยปัญหาปวดข้อเป็นๆ หายๆ ต่อมามีเบื่ออาหาร น้ำหนักลดลง คลื่นไส้ อาเจียน สุดท้ายได้รับการวินิจฉัยเป็น amyloid arthropathy ที่เกิดจาก multiple myeloma ในเวชปฏิบัติผู้ป่วยที่มาด้วยเรื่องปวดข้อคล้าย rheumatoid arthrius แต่เป็นผู้ชาย สูงอายุ ตรวจไม่พบอาการแสดงของการอักเสบอื่นๆ และไข้ ควรจะต้องนึกถึงภาวะ amyloid arthropathy ไว้ด้วยเสมอ
