The Development on Healthcare Model for Patients with Hypertension in Community Hospital, Saraburi Province

Abstract
Research and development will examine the issue, build a model, and evaluate the service model for hypertensive outpatient anesthesia patients in a Saraburi community hospital. Three phases were used to apply materials and methods: 1) Assess outpatient anesthesia services for hypertensive patients. The 20-person sample group included outpatient department nurses, anesthesiologists, anesthesia nurses, and operating nurses. In-depth interviews and focus groups occurred. We employ in-depth interview and focus group guidance. They were analyzed using content analysis. 2) Create an outpatient anesthesia service paradigm for hypertensive patients. Three experts were assigned to assess the feasibility, appropriateness, and efficacy of the service model for hypertensive outpatient anesthesia patients using the research results from step 1 and related literature. This quasi-experimental study compared knowledge and anxiety within groups, average scores, and how outpatient anesthetic preparation was explained. From 60 patients, samples were obtained. Data were evaluated using descriptive statistics, paired t-test, and one-way ANOVA. Study results were First, hypertensive people had high blood pressure because they didn't take medicine. We had to postpone or cancel surgery. Step 2: Develop strengths and service systems at each step to improve service quality. A service model should aim to coordinate departments across all services. Step 3 When the patient saw the surgeon in the outpatient department and got a surgical appointment, the model worked. Nurses and doctors check blood pressure and drug intake. Video instructions and a pamphlet for home care are given to the patient before, during, and after operation. An “Hypertensive Patient Education Corner” at the outpatient department is suggested for patients and family members waiting to see doctors.
