บทคัดย่อ
วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาทัศนคติต่อการฆ่าตัวตาย ของผู้ที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องกับการดูแลผู้ที่มีพฤติกรรมการฆ่าตัวตายของประเทศไทย ในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่และจังหวัดขอนแก่น
วัสดุและวิธีการ: การศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพโดยใช้การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกแบบกึ่งโครงสร้าง ผู้ให้ข้อมูลแต่ละจังหวัดประกอบด้วยเจ้าหน้าที่สาธารณสุข ผู้นำศาสนา และผู้ดูแลผู้ที่พยายามฆ่าตัวตาย เก็บข้อมูลจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ที่โรงพยาบาลสันทราย จำนวน 13 คน จังหวัดขอนแก่นที่โรงพยาบาลจิตเวชขอนแก่นราชนครินทร์ จำนวน 14 คน เก็บข้อมูลช่วงเดือนกรกฎาคม ถึง กันยายน พ.ศ. 2566 แบบสอบถามที่ใช้ผู้วิจัยเป็นผู้พัฒนาขึ้นจากการทบทวนวรรณกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องและตรวจสอบโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้วิธีการวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา
ผล: สาเหตุที่ทำให้เกิดการฆ่าตัวตายมีทั้งผู้ที่คิดว่าเกิดจากการอารมณ์ชั่ววูบและเกิดจาก
การคิดไตร่ตรองมาอย่างดี มีทั้งผู้ที่คิดว่าฆ่าตัวตายเป็นสิทธิส่วนบุคคลและไม่มีสิทธิที่จะทำ การที่
คนในครอบครัวฆ่าตัวตายจะทำให้คนอื่นๆที่เหลืออยู่มีบาดแผลทางใจและความรู้สึกผิด การมีศาสนาสามารถช่วยในการป้องกันการฆ่าตัวตายได้หรือไม่ขึ้นกับมุมมองของคน คนในครอบครัวสามารถป้องกันการฆ่าตัวตายได้ด้วยการพูดคุยและให้กำลังใจผู้ป่วย
สรุป: ทัศนคติและความเชื่อทางศาสนาต่อการฆ่าตัวตายที่แตกต่างกันสามารถส่งผลต่อ
การป้องกันการฆ่าตัวตายได้ เจ้าหน้าที่สาธารณสุขควรให้ทัศนคติที่ถูกต้องแก่ผู้ดูแลด้วย เพื่อให้การป้องกันการฆ่าตัวตายนอกโรงพยาบาลมีประสิทธิภาพ
