ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลกับความวิตกกังวลก่อนผ่าตัดของผู้ป่วยที่ได้รับการผ่าตัดศัลยกรรม โรงพยาบาลเลิดสิน

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการศึกษาภาคตัดขวาง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาความวิตกกังวลก่อนผ่าตัด และ 2) ศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างเพศ อายุ ประวัติการผ่าตัด ความต้องการข้อมูล ความกลัวเกี่ยวกับอาการปวดหลังผ่าตัด และความกลัวว่าจะรู้สึกตัวขณะผ่าตัด กับความวิตกกังวลก่อนผ่าตัดของผู้ป่วยที่ได้รับการผ่าตัดศัลยกรรม กลุ่มตัวอย่างเลือกแบบเฉพาะเจาะจงโดยเป็นผู้ป่วยมารับการผ่าตัดศัลยกรรมที่โรงพยาบาลเลิดสินกรุงเทพฯ จำนวน 140 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบบันทึกข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล แบบสอบถามความวิตกกังวลและความต้องการข้อมูลก่อนผ่าตัด มีค่าความเชื่อมั่น 0.87 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงบรรยาย และสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ ผลการวิจัย พบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความวิตกกังวลก่อนผ่าตัดโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ( = 3.80, SD = 1.12) เพศและความต้องการข้อมูลมีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับความวิตกกังวลก่อนผ่าตัดของผู้ป่วยที่ได้รับการผ่าตัดศัลยกรรมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (r = .46, p<.01; r = .60, p<.01) ตามลำดับ สำหรับอายุประวัติการผ่าตัด ความกลัวเกี่ยวกับอาการปวดหลังผ่าตัด และความกลัวว่าจะรู้สึกตัวขณะผ่าตัดไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับความวิตกกังวลก่อนผ่าตัด ข้อเสนอแนะ กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความวิตกกังวลก่อนผ่าตัดในระดับมาก พยาบาลบนหอผู้ป่วยศัลยกรรมควรให้การปรึกษา และให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการผ่าตัด รวมทั้งให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการให้ยาระงับความรู้สึก เพื่อบรรเทาความวิตกกังวลของผู้ป่วยก่อนผ่าตัด
