The Satisfaction of Using of Evidence in Teaching and Learning in Adult Nursing

Currently, nursing practice with international standard and quality must consider using evidence from the international standardized organization to apply in accordance with the needs and preferences of individual patient. Level of evidence Joanna Briggs Institute for Evidence Based Nursing and Midwifery is one example of the most popular system used in Thailand. Lecturers in Adult Nursing subject have chosen this evidence in teaching and learning Adult Nursing III to allow junior nursing students to improve their skills in searching and choosing evidence that is appropriate for patient in the assigned case study, English translation and presentation. This classroom research aimed to explore the satisfaction of nursing students and instructors in searching evidence in Adult Nursing subject. The research instrument was questionnaires that was adjusted from Part 2 of the teaching learning evaluation form developed by Academic Affairs office, Payap University. The population of this study were 127 junior nursing students who enrolled in Adult Nursing III subject and 10 faculties who taught in this subject. The results revealed that nursing students satisfaction level on using evidence were high and highest. The faculties satisfaction level on using evidence were also high and highest.
