ความรู้ทัศนคติและพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงต่อโรคติดต่อทางเพศสัมพันธ์ ในกลุ่มนักเรียนหูหนวก ในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร พ.ศ. 2538

Abstract

คณะผู้วิจัยได้ศึกษาถึงความรู้ ทัศนคติและพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงเกี่ยวกับโรคติดต่อทางเพศสัมพันธ์และโรคเอดส์ในนักเรียนมัธยมหูหนวกจำนวน 170 คน ชาย 94 คน หญิง 76 คน จากโรงเรียนสอนคนหูหนวก 2 แห่ง คือ โรงเรียนเศรษฐเสถียรและโรงเรียนทุ่งมหาเมฆ ในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร ระหว่างเดือนธันวาคม 2537 ถึงพฤษภาคม 2538 พบว่านักเรียนหูหนวกมีความรู้ทัศนคติต่อโรคติดต่อทางเพศสัมพันธ์และโรคเอดส์ในระดับที่ต่ำมากถึงปานกลาง เมื่อมีปัญหาทางเพศส่วนมากจะปรึกษาเพื่อนหรือไม่ปรึกษาใครเลย สื่อความรู้ที่ได้รับมากที่สุด คือ สื่อโทรทัศน์และหนังสือพิมพ์ 44.71% ของนักเรียนหูหนวกคิดว่า ยังมีสื่อไม่เพียงพอ 43.62 % ของนักเรียนหูหนวกชายเคยมีเพศสัมพันธ์แล้ว และ 65.85 % มีเพศสัมพันธ์ครั้งแรกระหว่างอายุ 15 -17 ปี 7.8 % ของนักเรียนหญิงเคยมีเพศสัมพันธ์ 30.85 % ของนักเรียนหูหนวกชายเคยเที่ยวหญิงบริการ ปัจจัยที่ทำให้เที่ยวหญิงบริการมากที่สุดคือ การดูหนังโป๊ (34.88 %) อัตราการใช้ถุงยางอนามัยทุกครั้ง 46.51 % ไม่เคยใช้เลย 13.95 % ใช้ทุกครั้ง 16.28 % สาเหตุอันดับแรกที่ไม่ใช้เนื่องจากมีความอายที่จะซื้อ โดยสรุป นักเรียนหูหนวกยังขาดความรู้ ความเข้าใจ ทัศนคติที่ถูกต้องต่อดรคติดต่อทางเพศสัมพันธ์และโรคเอดส์ นักเรียนชายส่วมมากที่เที่ยวหญิงบริการมีความอายที่จะซื้อถุงยางอนามัยจึงทำให้ไม่ค่อยใช้และมีพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงต่อโรค ปัจจุบันยังขาดสื่อที่เหมาะสมสำหรับกลุ่ม S.T.D. knowledge ,attitude and risk behavior of deaf high-school students were studied by 2 - way questioniares. 170 deaf students from 2 deaf schools in Bangkok were included in the study during December 1994 and May 1995. We found that the S.T.D. knowledge and attitude of the deaf students were in low level. The major source of S.T.D. information were television and newspaper. 44.71% of them thought that there was inadequate media for their group. 43.62 % of male students had sexual intercourse,65.85% had the first intercourse during 15-17 years of age. 7.81% of female students had sexual intercourse. 30.85% of males had experience with prostitutes. The impoetant factor that persuade them to portitutes is x-rated VCD (34.89%), 13.95% had never used condoms. 16.28% used condoms occasionally and 46.51% used condoms every time they had sexual intercourse. Shyness to buy condom was the major factor why they did not use it (34.29%) In conclusion, deaf students lack knowledge and have poor attitude to S.T.D. and AIDS. male students shy to buy condom and have risk behavior. Deaf students lack appropriate media for their special groud.
