แขนงของเส้นประสาท median ในต้นแขน

Abstract

โดยปกติเส้นประสาท median เป็นเส้นประสาทที่จะทำให้แขนงประสาทไปเลี้ยงปลายแขนและมือ ไม่พบว่ามีแขนงส่งไปเลี้ยงส่วนต้นแขน แม้ว่าบางกรณีจะพบว่าเส้นประสาท median ให้แขนงเชื่อมกับเส้นประสาท musculocutaneous จากการศึกษาศพอาจารย์ใหญ่จำนวน 64 ศพ มีจำนวนแขนทั้งหมด 128 ข้าง พบแขนข้างซ้ายจำนวน 2 ข้าง(ร้อยละ 1.56) ที่เส้นประสาท median แตกแขนงประสาทในต้นแขนไปเลี้ยงกล้ามเนื้อ coracobrachialis กล้ามเนื้อ biceps brachii และกล้ามเนื้อ brachialis โดยมีแขนงหนึ่งทอดตัวอยู่ระหว่างกล้ามเนื้อ biceps brachii และกล้ามเนื้อ coracobrachialis แล้วผ่านทะลุ deep fascia ระหว่างกล้ามเนื้อ biceps และกล้ามเนื้อ brachioradialis ที่ระดับข้อศอกออกมาเป็นเส้นประสาท lateral antebrachialcutaneous Generally, the median nerve has no branch in the axilla or arm. It passes directly into the forearm and hand and sends branches to supply most structures in these region, and often communicates with the musculocutaneous nerve. In 64 cadavers and their 128 arms studied, median nerve sending branches to supply coracobrachialis, biceps brachii and brachialis muscles was found in two left hand(1.56%). There is one branch lying between biceps and brachialis muscle and piercing the deep fascia between biceps and brachioradialis as the lateral antebrachial cutaneous nerve.
