The Effects of Using Innovative Herbal Steam Boilers on the Health and Comfort of patients with COVID-19

This quasi-experimental research with one-group design aimed to study the effects of nursing care using innovative herbal steam boilers on the health are symptoms,oxygen saturation, lung capacity and comfort of patients with COVID-19. The respondents of this research were patients infected with COVID-19. A field hospital in Ratchaburi province selected 39. The instruments used in this research consisted of 1) tools that the experiment uses such as the innovation of herbal steam boiler and herbal 2) the data collection tools including personal data, the general data record form, the health status record form such as the symptoms with reliability index of 0.94, oxygen saturation record form, lung capacity record form and the comfort evaluation form with reliability index of 0.97. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and non parametric statistics.
The research results showed that the patients infected with COVID-19 have more the symptoms after using the innovative herbal steam boilers less than before with statistically significant p-value .05, a statistically not significantly in oxygen saturation and a statistically significant increase in mean lung capacity p-value .05 and had a high comfort level. The results of this research are used as a guideline for the development of service management take care for COVID 19 patients.
