Abstract

The purposes of this study were: 1) to study the behavior of responsibility, family support, educational system support and goal setting of students in College of Sports Science and Technology Mahidol University; 2) to compare the behavior of responsibility of students (College of Sports Science and technology Mahidol University) as classified by gender, year of study, admission system, type of curriculum, University’s sport team and type of accommodation; 3) to study the predictability of family support, educational system support and goal setting with regard to responsibility behavior of students
Method : questionnaires constructed by the researcher. Data were analyzed for percentage, mean, standard deviation, One – way ANOVA and the Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. And simple random sampling technique.
The results found that :
1. Behavior of responsibility, Family support, Educational system support and Goal setting of students in College of Sports Science and Technology Mahidol University were at high level.
2. Behavior of responsibility of students in College of Sports Science and Technology Mahidol University as classified by year of study and Type of accommodation were significantly different at statistical level of .001, when this variable was clarified by gender, admission system, University’s sport team and type of accommodation there were no significantly different.
3. Educational system support ,goal setting and Family support of students predicted behavior of responsibility in College of Sports Science and Technology Mahidol University at a percentage of 52.2, with a statistical significance level of .001.
