THE VALIDATION OF AGGRESSION QUESTIONNAIRE IN THAI VERSION

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to validate the Aggression Questionnaire: AQ into Thai version.
Participants were 408 Thai football spectators who volunteered (male = 259 and female = 149) and average age
26 ± 8.3 years old (18 – 60 years) to participate in the study. The AQ was developed by Bryant & Smith (2001)
and translated in to Thai language through back translation technique to ensure its content reliability. The
result indicated that. the Aggression Questionnaire include Physical aggression, verbal aggression, hostile
aggression and angry aggression (2 = 22.681, df = 14, p = 0.066, 2/df = 1.620, RMSEA = 0.045, NFI =
0.997, NNFI = 0.995, CFI = 0.999, RMR = 0.012, SRMR = 0.012, GFI = 0.988, AGFI = 0.932 and PGFI =
0.577), alpha reliability and composite reliability scale were 0.96. In conclusion, this result indicates that a
Thai version of AQ in acceptable to be uses were Thai population.
