Effects of health savings ‘Warin healthy city’ program on self-efficacy and health behaviors of working age of Warin chamrab municipality offices in Ubon Ratchathani

Abstract
This quasi-experimental research aimed to determine the effects of the health savings program 'Warin healthy city' on the self-efficacy and health behaviors of working age in the Warin Chamrab Municipality Office in Ubon Ratchathani. A total of 37 participants, according to the inclusion criteria were recruited using simple random sampling. The sample group received six program activities. Data collection was from participants by self-report questionnaires and health-saving record forms. Data were collected between May and October 2022. Comparing mean self-efficacy and health behaviors by paired samples t-test and examining the relationship between saving health, self-efficacy, and health behaviors by Spearman's correlation coefficient. Significantly more than before the experiment (Mean diff.=5.03, 95%CI=1.56-8.46, p-value=0.005; Mean diff.=2.08, 95%CI=0.78-3.38, p-value =0.003), respectively. Saving health, and self-efficacy were positively correlated with health behaviors, statistically significant (r=0.634 95%CI=0.36–0.81, p-value < 0.001; r=0.346, 95%CI=0.03 - 0.61, p-value =0.036), respectively. This program used to be applied to policy, planning, and work design in promoting the health of working people in the workplace, both in the public sector and the private sector to prevent health problems and prepare health when entering the elderly.
