Investigation report on death rabies disease in Tungtamsoa sub district Hadyai district Songkhla province

Abstract

                 There is a reported on dead person and suspect rabies virus is a caused then investigation started.Objective To find out the cause of disease and disease prevention programs.Method; - revive the 506 report interview wife of decease   checking treatment history   seeking rabies disease infected persons and person who had touched rabies disease infected  risk environment factors  decease resident environment lab analysis  Results of investigation   there is 1 man dead by rabies disease caused by the dog bited at left hand and not getting anti rabies disease vaccine   Unidentify the bited dog 8 October 2018 sick started  10 October  2018 started fever and admitted at private hospital in Hadyai district with weakness,dizzy and blear symptoms   13  October   2018 reported dead   Sent brain tissue samples for rabies virus analyse   incubation period is 10 months for this case  cannot identify the bited dog   139 persons has been touched rabies infected patient all these 139 persons got anti rabies disease vaccine  anti rabies disease vaccine have been given to carriers in the area.
