Abstract

Objective: To explore content validity of the Mental Health Recovery Measures-Thai Version (MHRM-Thai).

Methods: The MHRM has been translated from English into Thai by two groups of translators using two forward and two back-translations, discussed by an expert panel, and pretested in 30 respondents.

Results: It was found 66.7 percent of items, the respondents were able to report on the questionnaire without questions, however 23.3 percent needed more explanations and 10 percent suggested revising some words such as spirituality and stigma.

Conclusion: The MHRM-Thai Version has excellent content validity, but some items should be changed for more validation in content which should be studied further.
