Factors Related to Burnout Syndrome of Medical Personnel in Lamphun Hospital

Abstract
Objectives: 1) to study the level of mental health and burnout; 2) to study the factors related to burnout; 3) to study the relationship between the level of mental health and burnout in the work of Lamphun Hospital staff.
Materials and Methods: Data were collected from 903 Lamphun hospital staff in 2021 using a questionnaire assessing mental strength, stress, depression, and burnout. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the factors associated with burnout by using Pearson's correlation coefficient.
Results: 1) The mental strength of the staff was, overall, at a moderate level. The overall stress was also at a moderate level. Overall, depression was at low level. 2) position and age affect burnout and are statistically significant (p <0.05). 3) Mental strength and stress are associated with low levels of burnout with statistical significance (p <0.05). Depression 9Q is associated with high levels of burnout with statistical significance (p <0.05).
Conclusion: Overall, the mental strength of Lamphun Hospital staff was at a moderate level. The level of burnout was low.Burnout was strongly associated with mild depression.
