The Effectiveness of Mental Health Promotion Program on Resilience Quotient of Nursing Staff

Abstract
Objective
To investigate the level of resilience quotient among nursing staff.
Materials and Methods
This quasi-experimental research data was collected from 152 nursing staff from the general nursing section Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital by comparing the pre-post RQ Questionnaire scores during June-July 2018. The tool passed the quality analysis with a reliability of .84 and a CVI of 1.0. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired t-test.
Results revealed that:
- Most of the population in this study have RQ scores in normal level.
- After participating in the program, the overall mean score and the scores in each subscale revealed no statistically significant differences.
Summary
The level of resilience quotient among nursing staff revealed to be in the normal level and the Mental Health Promotion Program was no effective in enhancing the resilience quotient.
