Cyberbullying in Thai teenagers: Helping and healing measures

Abstract

At present, there are many forms of violence that occur in Thai society, which vary according to changes in social patterns. A cyberbullying is one of such form of violence that is widespread in Thai and world societies. It is another serious weapon which can destroy happiness and the lives of others while those who practice this act do not have to exert.  Violence in this form can happen to anyone especially, adolescents who were found to have the highest rates of using social networking online and being the victim of cyberbullying. Therefore, adolescents, parents, educational institutions, teachers, public health officials and those who are responsible for issuing legal measures including other related persons should be aware and prioritize this problem. Additionally, it is extremely important to know helping methods to prevent this problem from becoming too severe to heal.
