Objectives : to develop and investigate the one day surgery model
Meterials and Methods : This study was a research and development. The subject included of 30 patients who was operated on one day surgery, 8 personel from multidisciplinary team. The development process consisted of 4 steps; 1) situation analysis of operation service in surgical department. 2) development of one day surgery model 3) Implementation and 4) Evaluation. This study was conducted during October 2018 to September 2019. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and content analysis.
Results : The results of this study showed that the one day surgery model composed of 5 elements 1) Care map for one day surgery patients by multidisciplinary 2) The criteria for patients choosing 3) Established one day surgery center 4) family participation and 5) Visit by phone. After the one day surgery model was implemented. One case has infection. The satisfaction levels of patients were highest level ( =4.88)
Conclusion : the results of this study indicated the one day surgery model development by multidisciplinary teams lead to the effective caring.
