Abstract

ดวงตาเป็นอวัยวะหนึ่งที่มีผลกระทบจากการติดเชื้อของทารกตั้งแต่อยู่ในครรภ์ที่พบได้บ่อย โดยสาเหตุของ con-genital intrauterine infections ที่พบความผิดปกติในตาได้บ่อยและจักษุแพทย์ควรทราบ (mnemonic TORCHES) ได้แก่

  1. Toxoplasmosis
  2. Rubella
  3. Cytomegalovirus
  4. Herpes simplex virus
  5. Epstein-barr virus
  6. Syphilis (Treponema pallidum)
