บทคัดย่อ

ยุงลายบ้านดื้อสารเคมีกำจัดแมลงมีรายงานในทุกจังหวัดของประเทศไทยทำให้ผลิตภัณฑ์ป้องกันกำจัดยุง มีประสิทธิภาพลดลงในการควบคุมและป้องกันโรคที่นำโดยยุงลายบ้าน งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาและศึกษาประสิทธิผลของผลิตภัณฑ์สเปรย์กันยุงลายบ้านดื้อสารเคมีกำจัดแมลงในระดับห้องปฏิบัติการ โดยพัฒนาสเปรย์กันยุงที่มีสารสำคัญเป็นอิคาริดิน (Icaridin) นำมาวิเคราะห์หาปริมาณสารอิคาริดินด้วยวิธี gas chromatography-flame ionization detection ทดสอบการระคายเคืองทางผิวหนัง/การกัดกร่อนในสัตว์ทดลองชนิดกระต่ายตาม OECD guideline No.404 สอดคล้องกับ OECD GLP ทดสอบประสิทธิผลในการป้องกันยุงลายบ้านดื้อสารเคมีกำจัดแมลง โดยดัดแปลงวิธี Repellent testing ในห้องปฏิบัติการ และตรวจการกลายพันธุ์ของยีน para ในยุงลายบ้านดื้อสารเคมีกำจัดแมลง ด้วยวิธี polymerase chain reaction (PCR) และ DNA sequencing จากการศึกษา พบว่า สเปรย์กันยุงมีสารอิคาริดินร้อยละ 9.78 โดยน้ำหนัก ไม่ก่อการระคายเคืองทางผิวหนังในสัตว์ทดลองชนิดกระต่าย และให้ค่าเฉลี่ยระยะเวลาป้องกันยุงลายบ้านที่ดื้อสารเคมีกำจัดแมลงจาก 6 จังหวัดพื้นที่ศึกษา ได้นานระหว่าง 9.9 (SD 1.3) ถึง 12.0 (SD 0) ชั่วโมง และพบมัธยฐาน 9.50 (IQR 3) ถึง 12.0 (IQR 0) ชั่วโมง โดยแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (Kruskal-Wallis test, p<0.05) และพบการกลายพันธุ์ของยีน para ที่ตำแหน่งกรดอะมิโน 1016 (V1016G) ของยุงลายบ้านจากทั้ง 6 จังหวัด โดยมีค่าความถี่การกลายพันธุ์ของยีน para ระหว่าง 0.20-0.33 ผลิตภัณฑ์สเปรย์กันยุงลายบ้านดื้อสารเคมีกำจัดแมลงที่พัฒนาขึ้นสามารถนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ในงานตามภารกิจและงานสนับสนุนของหน่วยงานได้
