ความชุกและปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับการพลัดตกหกล้มในผู้สูงอายุ จังหวัดยโสธร

งานวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความชุกและปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับการพลัดตกหกล้มในผู้สูงอายุ โดยใช้การวิจัยแบบภาคตัดขวาง กลุ่มตัวอย่าง เป็นผู้สูงอายุ 60 ปีขึ้นไปทุกคน ในพื้นที่อำเภอเมืองยโสธร เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลด้วยแบบประเมินความเสี่ยงต่อการพลัดตกหกล้มของผู้สูงอายุ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา และหาปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับการพลัดตกหกล้มด้วย Multiple logistic regression ผลการศึกษาพบว่า จากผู้สูงอายุทั้งหมด 20,994 คนที่ติดตาม ได้รับการคัดกรอง 18,818 ราย (ร้อยละ 89.6) มีความชุกของการพลัดตกหกล้ม ร้อยละ 7.5 (95% CI 7.1-7.9) พบในเพศชาย ร้อยละ 6.1 ในเพศหญิง ร้อยละ 8.6 โดยพบความชุกที่สูงขึ้นตามอายุที่เพิ่มขึ้น ปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับการพลัดตกหกล้มมี 6 ปัจจัย ได้แก่ เพศหญิง (ORadj 1.6, 95% CI 1.3-1.9) การมองเห็นบกพร่อง (ORadj 1.4, 95% CI 1.3-1.6) การทรงตัวบกพร่อง (ORadj 1.5, 95% CI 1.4-1.6) การใช้ยาเฉพาะ (ORadj 1.8, 95% CI 1.6-2.1) บ้านที่ยกพื้นสูงหรือต้องขึ้นลงด้วยบันได (ORadj 1.3, 95% CI 1.2-1.5) และเส้นรอบเอวเกิน (ORadj 1.3, 95% CI 1.1-1.6) ความชุกการพลัดตกหกล้มของผู้สูงอายุที่มากขึ้นตามอายุที่เพิ่มขึ้นสอดคล้องกับความเสื่อมของร่างกายที่เพิ่มขึ้นเมื่อมีอายุมากขึ้น ผู้ที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องสามารถนำปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับการพลัดตกหกล้มทั้ง 6 ปัจจัยนี้ ไปออกแบบระบบสุขภาพเพื่อการดูแลผู้สูงอายุในชุมชนได้
