พฤติกรรมการป้องกันและควบคุมโรคชิคุนกุนยา ของตัวแทนครัวเรือน อำเภอปราณบุรี จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์

การวิจัยเชิงสำรวจแบบภาคตัดขวางนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการป้องกันและควบคุมโรคชิคุนกุนยาของตัวแทนครัวเรือน อำเภอปราณบุรี จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ โดยประยุกต์ PRECEDE Framework เป็นกรอบในการกำหนดตัวแปรปัจจัยที่ศึกษา กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ตัวแทนครัวเรือน จำนวน 399 คน ใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบ 4 ขั้นตอน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยให้กลุ่มตัวอย่างตอบแบบสอบถามด้วยตนเอง วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติการแจกแจงความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ด้วยการทดสอบไคสแควร์และสถิติสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน ผลการศึกษาพบว่าประมาณครึ่งหนึ่งของกลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความรู้เรื่องการป้องกันและควบคุมโรคชิคุนกุนยาในระดับน้อย (ร้อยละ 52.4) ส่วนใหญ่มีการรับรู้โอกาสเสี่ยงและการรับรู้ความรุนแรงจากการเป็นโรคชิคุนกุนยาในระดับปานกลาง ร้อยละ 69.4 และ 65.9 ตามลำดับ มีพฤติกรรมการป้องกันและควบคุมโรคชิคุนกุนยาอยู่ในระดับพอใช้ ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการป้องกันและควบคุมโรคชิคุนกุนยา ประกอบด้วย ปัจจัยด้านลักษณะทางประชากร ได้แก่ เพศ อายุ สถานภาพสมรส อาชีพ รายได้เฉลี่ยต่อเดือน ด้านปัจจัยนำ ได้แก่ ความรู้เรื่องการป้องกันและควบคุมโรคชิคุนกุนยา การรับรู้ความรุนแรงและการรับรู้โอกาสเสี่ยงในการเป็นโรคชิคุนกุนยา การรับรู้ความสามารถตนเองในการป้องกันและควบคุมโรคชิคุนกุนยา ด้านปัจจัยเอื้อและปัจจัยเสริม มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับพฤติกรรมการป้องกันและควบคุมโรคชิคุนกุนยา อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<0.05) ข้อเสนอแนะ คือ องค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นและเจ้าหน้าที่สาธารณสุขควรจัดกิจกรรมสร้างเสริมพฤติกรรมป้องกันและควบคุมโรคชิคุนกุนยา โดยเน้นการสร้างเสริมการรับรู้ความสามารถตนเอง รวมถึงสนับสนุนทรัพยากรในการกำจัดลูกน้ำยุงลาย ได้แก่ ทรายอะเบท หรือ การเพาะเลี้ยงปลาหางนกยูง เพื่อแจกจ่ายให้กับประชาชนอย่างต่อเนื่อง นอกจากนี้ อสม.หรือผู้นำชุมชน ควรกำหนดข้อตกลงร่วมกันในการป้องกันและควบคุมยุงลายของคนในชุมชน เพื่อให้การควบคุมและป้องกันโรคเกิดประสิทธิภาพ
