ผลของฉลากคำเตือนบนซองบุหรี่ต่อความตั้งใจไม่สูบบุหรี่ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย จังหวัดสกลนคร

การวิจัยประเมินผลนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของฉลากคำเตือนบนซองบุหรี่ต่อความตั้งใจไม่สูบบุหรี่ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย (ชั้นปีที่ 4 – 6) ปีการศึกษา 2561 ในจังหวัดสกลนคร จำนวน 270 คน ได้รับคัดเลือกด้วยการสุ่มแบบกลุ่มสองขั้นตอนและแบ่งเป็น 2 กลุ่มๆ ละ 135 คน ได้แก่ กลุ่มแรกสังเกตภาพคำเตือนขนาดร้อยละ 85 บนซองบุหรี่แบบทั่วไป กลุ่มที่สองสังเกตภาพคำเตือนบนซองบุหรี่แบบเรียบ เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยตอบแบบสอบถามด้วยตนเอง วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนาและสถิติเชิงอนุมาน ผลการวิจัย พบว่าตัวอย่าง ร้อยละ 15.6 เคยทดลองสูบบุหรี่ และร้อยละ 5.6 สูบบุหรี่ในรอบ 30 วันที่ผ่านมา ภาพที่วางบนซองบุหรี่แบบเรียบมีการตอบสนองทางอารมณ์สูงกว่าภาพที่วางบนซองบุหรี่ขนาดร้อยละ 85 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p < 0.05) และตัวอย่างที่ไม่สูบบุหรี่และเคยสูบบุหรี่แต่เลิกแล้วที่สังเกตภาพคำเตือนขนาดร้อยละ 85 บนซองบุหรี่แบบเรียบ มีความตั้งใจไม่สูบบุหรี่ไม่แตกต่างจากตัวอย่างที่สังเกตภาพคำเตือนขนาดร้อยละ 85 บนซองบุหรี่ทั่วไป (p > 0.05) ดังนั้น ภาพคำเตือนขนาดร้อยละ 85 ที่วางบนซองบุหรี่แบบเรียบ จึงเป็นมาตรการที่ได้ผลในการกระตุ้นให้เกิดการตอบสนองทางอารมณ์เชิงลบทั้งความน่ากลัว น่าขยะแขยง และวิตกกังวล รวมถึงเพิ่มความโดดเด่นของการสังเกตอันตรายของการสูบบุหรี่ได้ชัดเจนขึ้น
