Introduction of tobacco products regulations is one of the important measures to reduce demand of tobacco, which is designated in the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC). It covers measures that regulate the contents of tobacco products and disclosure. The article aims to present the essence of the partial guidelines for implementation of Articles 9 and 10 of such framework convention, focusing primarily on Article 10, i.e. public disclosure of tobacco constituents and emissions, and provide examples how the guidelines was implemented in some countries. Disclosure of information on tobacco constituents may help raise public awareness about health risks associated with smoking, which, in turn, could encourage people to quit smoking.
