The research design was the quasi-experimental research with an experimental group and a control group. The research sample consisted of 30 prisoners in Area 6 of Bang Kwang Central Prison, Nonthaburi province who had social intelligence scores below the 50th percentile and volunteered to participate in the experiment. Then, they were randomly assigned into an experimental group and a control group, each of which containing 15 prisoners. The employed research instruments were 1) a social intelligence assessment scale, with reliability coefficient of .84, 2) a guidance activities package to develop social intelligence, and 3) a questionnaire on satisfaction with the guidance activities package to develop social intelligence. Data were analyzed using the mean, standard deviation, and t-test.</p><p>             The findings revealed that 1) after the experiment, the experimental group prisoners who used the guidance activities package to develop social intelligence had post-experiment social intelligence level significantly higher than their pre- experiment counterpart level at the .01 level,  2) after the experiment, the experimental group had social intelligence level significantly higher than the counterpart level of the control group prisoners at the .01 level, and 3) the experimental group prisoners’ satisfaction with the guidance activities package to develop social intelligence was at the high level.</p> ER -
