The samples consisted of 12 instructors of department of administrative nursing and basic concepts nursing practice and 513, 1st-4th year nursing students, Phrapokklao Nursing College, Chanthaburi in an academic year of 2016. The research instruments were composed of a questionnaire of opinion toward the state and problems in learning and teaching management with the reliability of .95, and an interview guide of opinion toward the state and problems in learning and teaching management. Data were collected from December, 2016 to January, 2017. Statistics used for data analysis included mean and standard deviation.</p><p>The research results revealed that 1) the instructors and nursing students had the overall mean scores of opinion toward the state and problems in learning and teaching management in each dimension at a good level:- dimension of curriculum and curriculum implementation (<em>M</em> = 4.33, <em>SD</em> = .39 and <em>M</em> = 3.87, <em>SD</em> = .67, respectively); dimension of instructor (<em>M</em> = 4.45, <em>SD</em> = .47 and <em>M</em> = 4.20, <em>SD</em> = .47, respectively); dimension of learner (<em>M</em> = 3.70, <em>SD</em> = .45 and <em>M</em> = 3.99, <em>SD</em> = .55, respectively); dimension of learning and teaching management and facilities (<em>M</em> = 3.86, <em>SD</em> = .22 and <em>M</em> = 3.85, <em>SD</em> = .58, respectively); and dimension of evaluation (<em>M</em> = 4.29, <em>SD</em> = .31 and <em>M</em> = 4.06, <em>SD</em> = .64, respectively); and 2) the instructors and nursing students had the overall mean scores of needs toward development of learning and teaching management at a high level (<em>M</em> = 4.41, <em>SD</em> = .46 and <em>M</em> = 3.98, <em>SD</em> = .81, respectively).</p><p>This research suggests that an academic department of the college should use this research results as a guideline of learning and teaching plans as well as course modification to emphasize its effectiveness in improving education.</p> ER -
