The samples were 260 bedridden patient’s caregivers in Muang District, Chanthaburi Province. The research instrument was a questionnaire of the opinions regarding health empowerment and environmental health literacy factors to effect caring participation behavior and well-being of bedridden patient’s caregivers: human resource with reliability as .74, social resource with reliability as .72, health empowerment with reliability as .77, environmental health literacy with reliability as .81, caring participation behavior with reliability as .86, and well-being of caregivers with reliability as .75. Data were collected from October to December, 2021. Statistics used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and structural equation modeling analysis.</p> <p>The results presented that structural equation model of well-being of bedridden patient’s</p> <p>caregivers conformed with empirical data by consisting with χ<sup>2</sup> = 128.48, df = 104, <em>p</em>-value = .052, χ<sup>2</sup>/ df = 1.23, RMSEA = .04, RMR = .05, GFI = .91, CFI = .99, and AGFI = .84. The model was composed of six variables. The variables classified three exogenous variables and three endogenous variables. Exogenous variables were human resource, social resource, and environmental health literacy. Endogenous variables were health empowerment, caring participation behavior, and well-being of caregivers. Dependent variables were caring participation behavior and well-being of caregivers. All of six variables influenced both direct effect and indirect effect on caring participation behavior and well-being of caregivers.</p> <p>This research suggests that health care providers should enhance health empowerment as well as promote environmental health literacy for bedridden patient’s caregivers. This will help improve the quality of care of bedridden patients.</p>}, number={1}, journal={Journal of Phrapokklao Nursing College, Chanthaburi}, author={Peachpunpisal, Chuanchom and Intarakamhang, Ungsinun and Sombatwattana, Piyada}, year={2022}, month={Jun.}, pages={1–13} }
