The current population of working age is declining which having to bear the burden of raising children and the elderly and lead to stress and resulting in subsequent depression. Health care providers need to recognize the problems situation of the working age population, including the prevalence of depression and factors associated with depression among the working age population. There are several factors which including personal factors, psychological factors, socio-economic factors, and occupational factors that be able to bring the relevant factors to guide the planning for prevention of depression in the working age population. In addition, the screening for depression in population groups should use the appropriate tools, such as the screening for depression with two questions (2Q).
