The samples were 18 first-year nursing students, Boromarajonani College of Nursing Changwat Nonthaburi. The research instruments were a questionnaire of demographic data, an evaluation form of reflective thinking skills, an evaluation form of reflective levels, and an open-ended questionnaire as to obstacles, perception, and suggestion toward the program. The data collection was conducted from May to August 2015. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and paired t-test.

The findings revealed that after implementing the reflective thinking learning program, improvement of skill and levels of reflection were found. Before and after learning the program, mean scores of reflective thinking skills and levels of reflection between the 1st and 3rd program sessions were statistically significant difference (t = 9.290, p < .001 and t = 7.750, p < .001, respectively).

The finding suggested that nursing institutes should use the program to teach students in both general education and nursing courses, in order to enhance students’ logical and systematic thinking. In addition, nursing instructors should carefully use a scenario appropriate for students in each class.
}, number={1}, journal={Journal of Phrapokklao Nursing College, Chanthaburi}, author={สุวรวัฒนกุล วารุณี and นาถจำนง ทรงเสลา and เหลืองโสมนภา ยศพล}, year={2018}, month={Mar.}, pages={61–71} }
